We have walked in your shoes. Both John and Joe have been Vice President’s of Advancement, Directors of Development – and have faced the same challenges you face every day, our coaching model is based is on this experience and partnering with you to achieve goals and objectives.

  • Dr. John Rainone, Principal: John brings over 35 years of experience in higher education, including more than 25 years of direct resource development experience and experience as a college president. He has raised millions of dollars, and his expertise is in nonprofit leadership, strategic planning, and capital campaigns. John is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and holds graduate degrees from Southern New Hampshire University and Nova Southeastern University. John is a frequent conference speaker on topics related to economic & workforce development, and fundraising, and he teaches nonprofit workshops and courses.

  • Joe has more than 30 years of experience in resource-development programs and has personally raised more than $350 million. His professional expertise includes major gifts, planned giving, and capital campaigns. Joe has participated in more than 75 feasibility studies, development audits, strategic plans, community summits, industry forums, and strategic-planning efforts. He specializes in developing and implementing planned-giving programs. Joe has served as lead consultant on numerous major gift/capital campaigns, which have raised significant gifts in support of vision initiatives. Since 2017, Joe has served as the Director of Development at Strawbery Banke Museum, where he oversees all aspects of the Museum’s development efforts. Joe led the Museum through a $25 Million capital campaign, the largest in the Museum’s history. Joe is a graduate of St. Petersburg Junior College and the University of South Florida.
